Current speakers are definitive technology 2 rear surround bookshelf speakers 2 front atmos bookshelf speakers 1 center channel speaker and 1 subwoofer. So while we recommend in ceiling surrounds but never for the main left right center channels there are some caveats to consider and some general guidelines for purchasing them. If you re adding them to an existing surround sound or speaker system you ll generally need fewer ceiling speakers.

Klipsch in ceiling speakers also use the same horn loaded technology as the traditional klipsch speakers and many are specifically designed to perfectly match an existing loudspeaker product so feel free to mix and match in ceiling speakers with you favorite klipsch loudspeakers for the ultimate sound system. Again a single pair of ceiling speakers might be more than enough particularly if you combine them with floor or wall mounted speakers.
